Job Title: Drill Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drill Technician to perform scheduled drill servicing, unscheduled repairs, prioritise workloads or unscheduled repairs when required, supervise and/or coach the activities of Trainee Fitters, maintain and service light vehicles, support trucks and trailers, and meet all safety requirements and maintenance reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform scheduled drill servicing across rigs
* Carry out unscheduled repairs
* Prioritise workloads or unscheduled repairs when needed
* Supervise and/or coach Trainee Fitters
* Maintain and service light vehicles, support trucks and trailers
* Meet all safety requirements and maintenance reporting needs
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Trade Certificate (Mechanical)
* Hand Tools
* Driver Licence
* High level of diagnostic skills and field service fault finding is highly regarded
* Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
* Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour
Desirable Skills:
* Heavy machinery maintenance experience
* Refrigerant Handling Licence
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication skills and safety awareness
