About the Position
As the International Admissions Manager, you will be responsible for the management of all aspects of international student admission, including provision of advice on courses and processing applications and offers. Other responsibilities include the development of policies and processes consistent with best practice in international admissions and international student management, ensuring the University meets the legislative compliance obligations of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act (ESOS), the National Code and Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
The position supervises a team of officers, allocates resources, reviews and develops business practices and processes to achieve recruitment targets and deadlines, and provides reports on admissions and compliance-related data for the Director and the senior executive of the University. The International Admissions Manager may be required to participate in approved marketing and recruitment activities domestically and overseas.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
* A relevant Postgraduate qualification or progress towards Postgraduate qualification and extensive relevant knowledge and experience of the Australian international education industry.
* Sound knowledge of the Australian legislative framework for international education.
* Demonstrated organisation and managerial skills, particularly experience in developing systems and processes applicable to the complex and dynamic international education industry.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve targets, and a capacity to adapt to changing circumstances.
* Demonstrated experience in interpreting market trends and changes in legislative requirements, implementing changes to processes and business practice in response to these and in line with industry best practice.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with internal and external clients from a range of backgrounds and cultures.
* Demonstrated research skills and capacity to prepare statistical analysis.
* Demonstrated experience in processing high volumes of international applications.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 8. The base salary will be in the range of $108,349 - $122,491 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $126,768 - $143,314 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation.
