Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Chef to oversee the culinary operations of our camp. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing kitchen staff, maintaining high food safety standards, and developing new menu items.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare meals according to recipes and quality guidelines.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Develop new menu items and seasonal specials to cater to diverse tastes.
* Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs.
Requirements:
* AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
* At least 2 years of experience as a qualified chef in a similar setting.
* Demonstrated knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
