The role involves installations, maintenance, and programming of building management and access control systems, supporting customers across Defence, shopping centres, commercial buildings and healthcare facilities.
The Opportunity
Schneider Electric's Digital Buildings business is pioneering solutions that maximize energy efficiency.
You will be the technical partner for a variety of clients, delivering high-quality service that meets budget and time constraints.
The Day to Day
Typical tasks include:
Managing breakdown and maintenance of Electronic Security and Building Management Systems.
Supporting installation, programming and commissioning of new and expanded security systems.
Demonstrating product knowledge to provide customer improvements.
Ensuring service delivery meets budget and time constraints.
Maintaining a high degree of safety awareness.
Participating in on-call duties and overtime when required.
Installing, programming, commissioning, maintaining and fault-finding across a range of Electronic Security, Access Control, BMS, IP networking, and video management systems.
Handling IP and analogue CCTV systems (Pelco experience preferred).
Providing high-quality work and effective resolution of faults.
Qualifications
Full unrestricted Electrical License (A-Grade).
Current Security License and Driver's Licence.
Technical skills in Electrical/Mechanical HVAC or Instrumentation or Controls.
Knowledge of building management, access control, video management systems and energy efficiency solutions.
IT proficiency with fault-finding experience on network routers, switches and hardware.
