Wodonga TAFE is seeking a passionate and experienced Engineering Teacher to join our team and make a lasting impact on the next generation of engineers. This ongoing position offers the chance to showcase your skills and knowledge while preparing students for their future in the dynamic field of Engineering. If you're driven by the desire to shape the future of Australia's engineering workforce, we want to hear from you This role is part of our Defence Contract, where you'll be instrumental in inspiring and mentoring students at the Army School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (ASEME).
We're looking for a committed Fitter/Machinist Teacher in this role, you will foster strong relationships with students, based on mutual trust. Your ability to connect with students and meet the expectations of Wodonga TAFE, the Australian Defence Force, and students will be key to your success. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with Defence organisations, ensuring our curriculum aligns with national priorities. You'll also enjoy ongoing professional development, allowing you to stay ahead of the latest innovations in engineering while supporting students to do the same.
Selected Duties:
* Deliver theory and practical lessons.
* Preparation of courses.
* Conduct teaching programs within Engineering.
* Customise units and courses to meet students' needs.
* Coordinate student resources.
ABOUT YOU
Skills & Experience

* An academic or trade qualification in the field of Engineering Fitter/Machinist and
* A minimum of 5 years demonstrated industry work experience
* You are required to maintain a current Teaching qualification in accordance with the Victorian TAFE Association or a willingness to obtain.
* Pre employment medical required.
* Must be an Australian Citizen to be able to gain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
