Expert Child Specialist Role
This position is part of a unique and critical role within the family law system in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist social science expertise to assist families and the Courts in making decisions that are in children's best interests.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced social worker or psychologist who is passionate about the safety and wellbeing of children. They will work closely with other professionals to provide comprehensive assessments, risk screenings, and expert witness reports.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting child-centred preliminary and comprehensive family assessments
* Undertaking risk screening and risk assessment
* Providing evidence to the Courts as an expert witness
* Assisting parties to resolve or narrow issues in dispute
