Senior Mathematics and Science Teacher will join our dynamic Secondary School team on a permanent, full‐time basis.
About the Role
This position involves teaching Mathematics and Science across Years 7–12, with the opportunity to deliver senior secondary courses (TASC or equivalent). The successful candidate will contribute to a culture of academic excellence, innovation in pedagogy, and strong student‐teacher relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and rigorous Mathematics and Science programs across Years 7–12
* Teach senior secondary subjects (e.g., General/Methods Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology)
* Use data‐informed practices to improve student outcomes
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Contribute to curriculum development and co‐curricular programmes
* Collaborate with colleagues to support whole‐school initiatives
About You
* Holds full working rights in Australia
* Holds relevant teaching qualifications and registration (or eligibility) in Tasmania
* Has demonstrated experience teaching senior Mathematics and/or Science
* Is committed to contemporary, evidence‐based teaching practicesBuilds strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
* Contributes positively to a collaborative and values‐driven school culture
* Is willing to engage in the broader life of the College
