BVN is looking for someone to provide IT support within the Service Desk to BVNers (our people) for a 12-month fixed-term contract, part time. We would love to hear from you.
The Service Desk is responsible for helping BVNers in their work, consisting of a collaborative group of individuals. Although most daily work will be autonomous, the Team regularly work together and support each other in their tasks.
This office-based role demands high standards of customer service and a willingness to provide excellent IT support. You will be comfortable with various technologies and always be keen to learn more.
You will be empathetic and able to see things through other people's eyes. You will want to leave people feeling positive and reassured that you can help them. You will be a confident communicator loving to share ideas or hacks with the rest of the team and the wider studio.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work within the BVN Technology Team.
- Action IT incidents and requests received through telephone calls or our ticketing system by triaging, providing technical troubleshooting and escalating to other BVN Technology teams.
- Provide a high level of customer service, responding in an empathetic and nurturing manner.
- Be willing to share knowledge with all Technology team members to help create better processes.
- Support and collaborate with other team members.
- Occasional after-hours work may be required.
**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Experience in customer service role would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Proven communication skills, both written and spoken.
