The position supports residents by ensuring buildings, grounds and shared spaces are consistently maintained to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building tasks Maintain gardens and outdoor areas through mowing, hedging, sweeping, hosing, and general grounds upkeep Complete scheduled preventative maintenance in line with site plans Respond to unplanned and reactive maintenance requests across assigned areas Oversee maintenance activities to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met Actively support and follow Work Health and Safety practices What You Bring Full Australia work rights - No sponsorship opportunities Current driver’s licence Basic to intermediate skills using mobile devices, laptops, and desktop systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Previous maintenance experience in aged care or retirement living environments preferred Background in building, plumbing, welding, fitter and turner, or similar trades desirable Trade qualification desirable but not essential Job Preview Hands-on maintenance work across diverse living environments, balancing planned upkeep with responsive repairs to support resident comfort, safety, and operational continuity.
