Our long standing successful family owned business is growing, and we seek an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team in our Modbury dealership workshop.
We are seeking a technician who has completed a traditional 4 year apprenticeship and is looking to grow their skills and diagnostic experience through mentorship from the long-term techs in our team. Our technicians thrive in a comfortable, supportive work environment where their passion for cars truly shines. We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance and our technicians enjoy a Monday-to-Friday schedule with no weekend shifts.
Carry out vehicle repairs & maintenance as per manufacturer specifications
Diagnosis & repair of mechanical issues
Conduct logbook services and warranty repairs
Assist apprentices in their continual development
Skills & Experience
Has completed a traditional mechanical apprenticeship with an additional year of experience as a minimum
Experience in carrying out servicing and repairs
Experience in diagnostic work is favourable but not essential
Current Driver's Licence
Strong communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and within a team
Previous proven experience with references required
