Water Infrastructure Project Coordinator
We are seeking a motivated Water Infrastructure Project Coordinator to join our expanding NSW Water Group. This role will play an integral part in assisting on water infrastructure projects based in Sydney, Newcastle or Wollongong office.
About the Role:
This position will coordinate specific projects with the Project Manager to deliver agreed outputs on budget, on time and to quality standards. Responsibilities include managing civil engineering design, design management, and project management from planning, feasibility/concept design, detailed design, and construction support of water and wastewater infrastructure as lead or member of a larger team.
* Candidates will perform broad, varied and diverse water and wastewater infrastructure engineering design tasks, including engineering drawings, engineering reports, presentations, and required applications to regulatory and/or funding agencies.
* Engage in the development of conceptual, preliminary and detailed design through produce engineering calculations, sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats, and prepare documentation in various civil phases including site plans, utility plan/profiles, grading plans, cross sections, diagrams, submittal reviews and response to information requests as required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
* A Bachelor Degree in Engineering - Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
* Chartership or working towards is highly regarded.
* 4 years professional experience in consulting or engineering within the water industry for a Civil Engineer, 6 years' experience for a Senior Civil Engineer.
* Proven design experience in the water and wastewater industry.
* Strong technical experience in potable water supply, gravity and pumped sewerage systems, and recycled water networks.
* Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants for regional and urban water authorities (highly desirable but not essential).
