About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic, problem-solving hospitality professional to join our Front Office team as a
Front Desk Reception
officer. This part-time or full-time position requires ***** hours per week, mainly 3 pm–11 pm, with possible morning shifts.
Responsibilities
Provide check-in and check-out services at the hotel reception.
Handle reservation queries via telephone and email, using sales techniques to meet guest needs.
Run end-of-day audit processes.
Offer miscellaneous assistance to guests to enhance their visit to Launceston.
Act as an ambassador for the hotel in all customer engagement.
Manage guest concerns and find suitable resolutions.
Perform accounts payable and receivable tasks.
Qualifications
Experience with hotel booking systems, particularly Opera.
Opera system experience preferred; comprehensive training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Previous customer service experience in hospitality strongly preferred.
Passion for providing memorable customer interactions and ability to multi-task.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Outstanding personal presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail, loyalty and reliability.
Unrestricted Australian work visa required; no sponsorship available.
