Mill Operator:
This position will see you working in a continuous production environment, operating machinery to manufacture steel products. Your responsibilities include:
* Set up, adjust, and operate machinery to produce steel beams and roofing components
* Interpret detailed production orders and technical drawings
* Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with specifications
* Support other departments as needed to meet production goals
Required:
* Previous experience or a strong interest in manufacturing or production
* A positive attitude and strong attention to detail
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* A strong commitment to safety-for yourself and your team
Shed Consolidation:
This position will see you responsible for the following:
* Accurately consolidate shed components according to customer specifications
* Bundle, wrap, and prepare products for transport
* Safely operate a forklift to move and organise materials (experience preferred)
* Perform manual handling tasks in a safe and efficient manner
* Collaborate with team members to meet production and dispatch deadlines
Required:
* Current forklift licence
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Excellent attention to detail
* Manual handling experience
Flashings Operator:
This position will see you working within the production team, responsible for the following:
* Operate an SWI Folder to produce steel flashings to specified dimensions
* Accurately read and interpret job sheets and technical drawings
* Ensure all products meet quality and safety requirements
* Work efficiently to meet daily production targets
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
* Safely handle and transport materials as needed
* Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and productive work environment
Required:
* Strog attention to detail
* Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively
* A team-oriented approach with strong communication skills
What you'll get in return
In return, our client can offer an ongoing position with the view to transition into a permanent role. Your new roster will be from Monday-Thursday 6am - 2:30pm & Friday 6am-12pm, ensuring a work - life balance. You will also have the opportunity for overtime on Saturdays.
