We are looking for a Technical Director - Civil Engineer (Dams) in Perth to join our high‐performing team. This role includes:
* Assisting the Business Group Leader by contributing to business planning.
* Collaborating with local and national colleagues to drive a strong safety culture.
* Winning, managing and delivering projects while building trusted relationships with clients.
* Leading key proposals and assisting with resource allocation.
* Delivering dams and tailings engineering projects for mining companies, industrial clients and power companies.
* Mentoring, training and investing in the development of team members.
What you will bring to the team
* A relevant bachelor's engineering degree, Project Management and/or MBA highly regarded.
* Minimum 10 years industry experience, proven experience in an engineering consultancy and/or utility with well‐established local industry contacts.
* Engaging communication skills & strategic problem‐solving capability, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external clients.
* Sound knowledge of dams engineering over the full project lifecycle encompassing planning, design, construction and operation.
* An enthusiastic, supportive, and motivating leader, who can get the best out of our team.
* Experience in winning work and managing multi‐disciplinary medium to large scale dams engineering projects.
* Engineer of Record experience advantageous.
* A natural communicator and strategic thinker who is proactive, professional and collaborative.
