Fit My Car is a private company based at Avalon Airport in Lara, Victoria. Fit My Car manufactures and distributes a large range of automotive aftermarket accessories. The company is growing and requires additional staff to ensure on‐time delivery of its products.
About the role
We are looking for a warehouse / production worker who is energetic, enthusiastic and happy to be trained to operate production machinery.
You will have demonstrated experience in a fast paced warehouse and/or production workplace.
Responsibilities
* Picking, packing and dispatching orders
* Scanning and printing shipping labels
* Receiving inwards goods
* Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift (if licensed)
* Boxing items
* Running production machinery when required
* Following procedures
* Maintaining secure work practices
* Keeping workplace clean and tidy
* Other warehouse/production duties as requested
* Fast learner
* Worked in a fast paced workplace
* Has good literacy, numeracy and attention to detail
* Is energetic and has a can‐do attitude
* Can work autonomously and as part of a team
* Works safely, fast and efficiently
* Is available for overtime on Saturdays and weekdays if required
* Warehouse/Production Experience is not required, but would be advantageous
* Current LF forklift license would be highly regarded
* Physically fit (able to lift up to 25 kg)
* Able to follow instructions and procedures
* Basic computer literacy is required
* Can read, write and speak English well
