Previous maintenance, parts stores, purchasing experience with parts and local supplier knowledge will be highly advantageous.
To be successful, you will have:
* Experience within a busy workshop environment with exposure to mechanical repairs and servicing requirements.
* Previous procurement experience - raising Purchase orders, recording and processing
* Spare parts store management - allocation to jobs and stock control
* Strong understanding and experience using computer systems and including the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
* High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong time management and organisation skills.
* 'Can do' attitude with a sense of urgency.

The Opportunity
We are implementing new processes and software in our Fleet Maintenance Workshop.
This opportunity is for a self-starter, who wants to help develop a best-in-class equipment, facility and maintenance workshop administration system to deliver real benefits to our organisation through effective and efficient maintenance of our mobile fleet and fixed assets.
You’re understanding and experience with Fleet or Maintenance Management systems and their operation will be important with your ongoing management of system data inputs and outputs. This will include the production and distribution of various management reports to the executive management team on a regular basis. Your knowledge will also be required to scope and customise the platform to meet business and operational requirements.
You will work closely with the systems implementation team, our suppliers and advisors who will provide you with training and coaching in how to utilise the latest maintenance systems to manage work and data.
This role is vital for the efficient operation of the business keeping our fleet compliant with statutory requirements and industry accreditations. The new systems will permit the efficient use of Work Order, Labour, Procurement and Stores management underpinning every aspect of fleet and facility maintenance. You will learn skills that will future proof your career.
Key responsibilities:
* Using the system to administer work order creation, parts allocation and work order completion.
* Work order scheduling
* Parts management including ordering, supplier liaison and stock management
* Report and dashboard generation
* Quality control of workshop maintenance standards
* Maintenance campaigns.
* Facility Maintenance
* Compliance and Safety Management
* Answering internal and external enquiries
* Coordinating with mechanics and suppliers
* Providing weekly and monthly reports for management.
* Other duties as required.
