The opportunity
We are searching for a trade qualified Electrician who is ready to join our team of dedicated tradespeople based at Kingfisher Bay Resort, K'gari. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Electrician role will deliver preventative and repair maintenance across two resort properties, including undertaking electrical testing and compliance.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity working up to 76 hours per fortnight requiring relocation into the resorts staff village. Kingfisher Bay Resort is the premiere eco accommodation on K'gari, the world's biggest sand island. This sustainably built, integrated resort offers hotel, villa and house accommodation for 1000+ guests and employees.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include delivering preventative and repair maintenance across two resort properties, undertaking electrical testing and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Essential Skills and experience you'll bring to the role
* Electrical trade certification
* Proven electrical experience in domestic and commercial settings
* Strong safety focus, knowledge of WHS practises and ability to work unsupervised.
* Hold a valid Manual QLD licence.
* Hold the right to live and work in Australia indefinitely

* HV Switching
* Dual trade, refrigeration & air-conditioning qualifications, and experience.
* Familiar with commercial kitchen equipment
