As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue and customer satisfaction for smaller-scale accounts in the travel industry.
You will manage a portfolio of longtail accounts, ensuring regular engagement through calls, emails, and meetings. As the primary point of contact for client inquiries, you will provide timely resolution of issues and foster strong relationships to retain and grow accounts.
* You will also drive adoption of digital tools or platforms relevant to the travel industry, oversee smooth onboarding processes for new accounts by providing training and handholding, educate clients on products, tools, and best practices, and provide ongoing training or workshops tailored to longtail partners.
* In addition, you will regularly share client feedback and insights with internal teams to inform product or service enhancements, address lost and churned accounts and understand the reasons behind it, conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements, close sales by building rapport with new and existing clients, and train travel agents on calls, meetings & webinars.
* You will also provide excellent customer service and post-sales support, meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as per the KPIs, work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product launches and campaigns, and find ways to approach clients and motivate them to book.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
* Minimum 1-3 years of inside sales experience, preferably in the travel industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing targets
* Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
* Analytical skills for generating insights from sales and booking data
