We are seeking an experienced Geologist to join our Kalgoorlie Operations.
Various positions are available across our sites, including the KCGM Super pit, Mt Charlotte Underground, Fimiston Underground, Kanowna Belle Operations, and South Kalgoorlie Operations.
These residential roles operate on an 8/6 roster.

Key responsibilities
Utilise your analytical and technical expertise to accurately assess and interpret geological data from underground and core samples.
Supervise drilling contractors and provide expert guidance to safely maximise project efficiency.
Serve as a safety standard bearer and actively promote our number one priority: Safety.
Possess a fundamental understanding of geology and its processes, with a strong grasp on production.
Ability to analyse and interpret geological and production data effectively.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team and with others, adapting to different communication styles and collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
Demonstrates initiative and readiness to tackle challenging geology tasks.
Requirements
A tertiary qualification (minimum degree level) in geology.
2+ years of experience as a geologist in the resource industry, preferably within an underground gold mining operation.
Experience with mining and geology software packages such as Datamine, Leapfrog and Acquire.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in sampling, QA/QC.
Ability to work well in a team, including Contractor Management (analytical assay and drilling).
Must reside in the Goldfields region or be willing to relocate for our residential world-class ore body.
Current unencumbered Western Australian C Class Manual Drivers Licence.
