Payroll and HR Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and HR Manager to join our team.
About the Role:
* The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of human resources practices and employment legislation.
* They will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, administering payroll tax, superannuation, child support payments, and wage on-charge invoices.
* Other key responsibilities include preparing and reconciling monthly General Ledger payroll journals, interpreting Awards and Agreements, providing payroll advice to staff and management, and ensuring compliance with all payroll-related legislation and deadlines.
* Additionally, they will drive process improvement and change management initiatives, maintain employee records, contracts, and position descriptions, assist with recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, and coordinate performance reviews, pay increases, and bonus letters.
Requirements:
* Degree in Human Resources or related field.
* Proven experience in payroll and HR management.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
