About the Role
This senior clinical position is responsible for developing processes that enable clinicians to safely prescribe, dispense, and administer medications across West Moreton Health (WMH). The role requires expertise in medication safety and the ability to develop and implement effective processes to minimize risks associated with medication use.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement medication safety policies and procedures
* Collaborate with clinicians to design and implement safe medication practices
* Maintain accurate records of medication usage and related incidents
Requirements
* Graduate degree in nursing or a related field
* Postgraduate qualification in a relevant area, such as clinical nurse consulting
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Experience working in a healthcare environment
* Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases
