Senior Property Lawyer
Our client is seeking an intelligent and well-organised lawyer to join a high-performing legal team. You will work with a group of experienced in-house lawyers who are all friendly and easy to work with.
We are seeking someone with:
* 5 -10 years PQE
* Experience working on property transactions, including commercial property leasing, acquisitions and disposals. Ideally, you will have experience handling an extensive commercial leasing portfolio.
* Training gained working at a top-tier, mid-tier or specialist property law firm or well regarded in-house team.
* Prior in-house experience is desirable but not essential.
* Must have a friendly and energetic personality and a good sense of humour.
* a mix of litigation as well as property and commercial transactions;
* research case law, legislation, and court rules;
* prepare court documents, contracts, and other transactional documents;
Suiting candidates at both the Associate and Senior Associate level, the successful applicant will be required to work on a range of development transactions for a number of private and listed clients, reporting directly into a lead Partner and working autonomously whenever appropriate. You will get direct client contact and the opportunity to engage in business development and be given every opportunity to build a practice of your own. * acquisition and sale of commercial and development sites; and
* co-ordination of construction, financing and tax teams.

* commercial acumen with solid research and analytical skills;
* excellent communication, negotiation and drafting skills;
* an ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously; and
