Employment Opportunity

The role of this position is to assist and guide clients in achieving suitable employment outcomes, leading to sustainable results. The consultant will use their customer service skills to build rapport with clients, support them on their employment journey, and help overcome barriers to employment.


Key Responsibilities:

* Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders as part of managing the referral & intake process of job seekers into chosen programs.
* Evaluate job seeker skills, abilities, identify barriers, and implement intervention strategies.
* In consultation with job seekers, develop work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions, and employment support activities.
* Market job seekers effectively to achieve sustainable employment opportunities.
* Provide pre-employment assistance through vocational counselling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience to increase capacity for employment.


Requirements:

* A self-motivated individual, resilient, and experienced in Customer Service.
* Strong communication skills, attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to use computer systems, excellent data accuracy, and note taking.
* Build rapport, grow, and maintain relationships with clients, peers, and jobseekers.
* Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening check or be willing to obtain one.
