The Position
A modern, mixed-billing clinic in a picturesque rural town is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join its team. With a $80 standard consultation fee and 65% of billings offered, this role provides excellent earning potential while delivering quality care to a diverse patient demographic. While direct supervision is not currently available, remote supervision may be supported for doctors in training programs.
The Clinic
- Features 4 consulting rooms and Best Practice software for seamless operations
- MM5 location allowing you to shave years off your moratorium as a doctor needing 19ab exemptions
- Includes 3 part-time nurses and access to visiting allied health professionals, such as a physiotherapist (2 days per week), optometrist (monthly), podiatrist, dietician, diabetes educator, and mental health workers via the local hospital
- Covers all age groups, with a focus on chronic disease management and family medicine
- GPs are supported in pursuing their clinical interests to enhance patient care
- Receives fantastic feedback from locums, many of whom return regularly
The Location
Located in a rural town on the banks of the Gwydir River, this community offers a vibrant lifestyle with a small-town charm. Essential Criteria
- FRACGP or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work independently or under remote supervision (if applicable)
The Package
- 65% of billings with negotiable minimum guarantee
- Flexible working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Friday (8-5), Wednesday and Thursday (9-5)
- Travel expenses covered, including fuel or flights, with assistance for car hire
- Two accommodation options provided for relocation or commuting convenience
