About This Opportunity
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our property management portfolio.
This key role involves securing new landlord clients, converting leads into signed management agreements, and establishing long-term relationships within the property industry.
You will drive new business through strategic prospecting, networking, canvassing, advertising, and delivering compelling presentations. With a strong focus on lead generation and pipeline management, you will position our agency as the preferred choice for property management services.
Responsibilities
* Actively seek new property management clients through calls, emails, door knocking, networking, referrals, and social media engagement.
* Build relationships with prospective landlords, deliver rental appraisals and presentations, and secure new management agreements.
* Develop, nurture, and track a strong lead pipeline using follow-ups, targeted campaigns, and CRM/database systems.
* Partner with Sales Agents to convert investor buyers and attend open homes and auctions to identify potential landlord clients.
* Educate new landlords on processes, maintain regular communication, and deliver ongoing value to strengthen client relationships.
* Track lead sources, conversion rates, and rent roll growth, providing regular reports and insights to the Branch Manager and team.
Requirements
* Proven experience in business development, real estate sales, or property management.
* Certificate III in Business Administration or a related field is desirable but not required.
* Demonstrated success in lead conversion, prospecting and nurturing long-term relationships.
* Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of residential tenancy legislation and compliance requirements (preferred).
* Understanding of local real‑estate market trends (preferred).
* Solid understanding of applicable Real Estate legislation.
* Current Property Management and / or Real Estate Licence, Certificate of Registration.
