The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will lead financial planning and analysis for Whyalla Operations, acting as a leadership business partner to support sustainable commercial outcomes.
This role operates within a capital-intensive, commodity-driven environment, requiring strong financial insight to support decision-making across mining, steel manufacturing and ports operations

Insightful and timely analysis and reporting of monthly and forecast financial results.
Provide senior business leaders with decision making support.
Manage the preparation of financial forecasts, consolidated budgets, and the 5-year business plan, ensuring timely input and explanations from both accounting and operational teams.
Work with the business to ensure continual improvement to budgeting models and process.
Establish and oversee commercial opportunities and risks reporting process as part of annual budgeting process.
Mentor and develop FP&A analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making support
Relevant tertiary qualification – commercial, finance, business management, etc.
Proven experience in a similar role
CPA / CIMA / CA or equivalent preferred.
Experience with leading and driving multi-discipline integrated planning processes
Good understanding of key performance drivers in mining and steel production.
Financial modelling and Business Case preparation.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
