What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role plays a key part in the smooth operation of our livestock sales and branch administration. Your responsibilities will include:
* Processing Livestock sales; predominantly looking after Saleyard Sales twice weekly, private sales, other agent sales and clearing sales.
* Attending sale days when required both at the saleyards and on farm at Stud Sales.
* Provide professional and timely customer service to existing and prospective clients.
* Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts relevant to all Livestock transactions.
* Performing branch administrative tasks including accounts payable, expenses, banking, mail distribution and general office duties.
* Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts including reconciliation and debt collection
* This role includes a rotating Saturday roster (one Saturday in every three months).

* Previous experience in an administrative or team support role

* Clear and confident verbal communication skills, with the ability to build long term customer relationships
* Strong problem-solving skills and a customer focused mindset
* Livestock knowledge (cattle and/or sheep) - advantageous but not essential
* A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify better ways of working
* Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (SAP experience desirable, but training provided)
* The ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player
