English Curriculum Leader Position
This is a permanent full-time position seeking a highly passionate, innovative and strong leader to fill the role of English Curriculum Lead.
The Role
As English Curriculum Lead, your primary responsibility will be to lead staff in the effective implementation of the English Curriculum and the implementation of WACE courses across the learning area in our ATAR, General and Vocational Directions Pathway Programs.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement engaging English programs and assessments
* Drive innovative curriculum delivery and ensure consistent implementation of the Teaching, Learning & Assessment Framework
* Provide meaningful performance development with your staff and model a culture of ongoing learning, self-reflection and personal growth as the leader of the English learning area
Requirements
* Collaborative leadership approach with high interpersonal and public relations skills
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships to achieve planned outcomes and drive educational outcomes for all students
* Demonstrated capacity to manage staff, physical and financial resources effectively

Eligibility
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
* Hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia and obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting
