About The Role
As a Case Manager, you will support children and young people to achieve their case plan goals, including supporting them to be restored to their family, live independently, move to a permanent home or step down to less intensive placement types.
This is a hybrid working role, and regular travel across Newcastle is a requirement of this position.

Skills & Experience
* Relevant bachelor's degree, or a relevant diploma and be working towards a degree. (A qualification is desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience and a willingness to undertake further training)
* Previous case management experience within an Intensive Therapeutic Care or Out Of Home Care (OOHC) setting
* Experience supporting Children & Young People with disability, who have experienced backgrounds of trauma, abuse and/or neglect.
* Understanding of current casework practices for children and young people
* Current drivers' licence
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NSW Working with Children Check & Residential Care Workers Check.
