Job Description

* Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donate
* Provide clinical oversight and guide other team members in the blood collection process
* Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests
* Set up machines and collections equipment
* Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood and plasma
* Manage adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance
* Monitor donors post-donation and assist them to rebook for their next donation
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) qualification
* A current AHPRA registration
* Flexible and able to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Saturday, including weekends and afternoon shifts
* Possess excellent customer-facing skills and passion for delivering an exceptional service
