Residential Aged Care Dining Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate dining assistant to join our team in a new 102 bed aged care home on the Central Coast.
* Provide high-quality, respectful dining services to residents
* Coordinate meal services, servery, buffets, and beverage stations
* Ensure food is served at the correct temperature and in line with residents' care plans
* Maintain a clean and welcoming dining area, kitchenette, and equipment
* Assist with hydration monitoring and special events
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure effective household operations, focusing on resident needs and preferences
Requirements
* A heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
* Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families
* Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents
* Cert III in Aged Care, Food Safety, or similar (desirable but not essential)
* Warm, empathetic interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in residents' wellbeing
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Strong time-management skills and attention to detail
* A Police check - we will arrange and pay for it
* A NDIS Clearance - we can assist with this
