Warehouse & Customer Service Lead - Equipment / Parts - $ / hr
Warehouse & Customer Service Lead who is reliable and ready to learn for an equipment business in the Bethania area. They are a manufacturer and sales outlet for high-pressure washers, supplying cleaning companies, construction crews, tradies, and the general public.
The role will focus around ensuring a smooth flow of sales and service bookings via email, phone and in person while also coordinating the flow of parts/products from the warehouse – occasionally assisting to pick and receive parts as needed.
The manager is looking for someone who can eventually step up and supervise the small team once trained.
The role offers:
* Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 4:30pm (38 hours per week)

Ideal applicants will have:
* Experience using Databases or Sales Portals to search
* Counterbalance forklift ticket preferred (not essential)
* Someone confident dealing with customers (walk-ins and phone)
* A background in any equipment or parts field is an ideal fit
* Willing to learn part catalogues and basic troubleshooting of water blasters
* Someone interested in eventually leading the team to co-ordinate the full process

What You'll Do
* Serve walk-in customers and phone customers
* Use parts diagrams to identify what customers need
* Check stock, go to the warehouse to pick parts
* Take payments or process orders for account customers
* Print purchase orders and keep paperwork organised
* For larger jobs:
o prepare quotes, convert to sales orders, check stock, raise invoices, arrange freight or pickup, and follow up payment
* If parts are out of stock, order them and update the customer
* Palletise and wrap machines
* When stock arrives, prioritise customer orders first, then put excess away
* Keep the warehouse tidy and stay customer-focused
