Property & Position
The grazing operations include a breeding base for over 3,000 composite ewes and 100 cows in the Golden Triangle of Cootamundra/Young/Harden, plus a second property near Wagga. Farming practices focus on working with nature, using both traditional and modern methods: rotational grazing, confinement feeding, careful use of fertilisers and chemicals, limited cropping, and annual pasture oversowing.
The owners intend to step back from day-to-day operations and are seeking a candidate interested in assuming management responsibilities for the long-term.
The position is intended for an individual who can manage the property independently as if it were their own. The role involves collaborating with the owners in regular meetings to develop a medium-term strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning their own work schedule and managing tasks autonomously.
The owners believe a pleasant workplace is vital, so a positive, respectful, and proactive attitude is required.
