We are on the lookout for a Business Architect to join our Technology team at Perth Airport. This role will shape our strategic direction by developing future state architecture that delivers smart, secure, and scalable technology solutions.
What you'll do:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing guidance and insight on technology solutions that deliver business value.
- Lead the development of long-term business and technology roadmaps aligned to corporate strategy.
- Produce high-quality architecture artefacts such as capability models, process maps, and value stream maps.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives that leverage AI and automation to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities for growth, agility, and customer value.
- Guide and govern technology standards, policies, and artefacts to ensure strong architectural practices.
- Promote engagement between business units and technology to support successful delivery and smooth transitions to operations.
- Support change management by clearly articulating the impact of architectural decisions on people, processes, and systems.
About you:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or equivalent experience.
- 5–10 years’ experience as a Business or Enterprise Architect, delivering business architecture artefacts, strategies, and executive presentations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence executive and non-technical audiences.
- Practical knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, SABSA, Zachman), process improvement methods (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma), and modelling tools (e.g. iServer, Orbus Infinity).
- Proven experience leading digital transformation using AI and automation to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across diverse projects while delivering on commitments.
- A collaborative and approachable style that fosters trust, credibility, and strong stakeholder relationships.
- Adaptability, resilience, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic setting.
