Join a fast-growing property developer with a strong retail and commercial portfolio. This is a busy, hands-on role suited to a Property Accountant who thrives in a high-volume environment and can hit the ground running.
We're seeking a Property Accountant to step into a key individual contributor role supporting a dynamic portfolio. This position will suit someone detail-driven, systems-savvy, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver ad-hoc property finance projects for the Head of Finance
* Be the go-to support for MRI/MYOB property systems
* Review monthly I&E reports from Centre Managers
* Partner with Finance and Retail teams on budgets and forecasts
* Investigate and explain budget vs actual variances
* Complete month-end balance sheet reconciliations
* Generate and review MYOB files and assist with accrual journals
* Support daily receipting and general accounting tasks
Candidate:
* Proven property accounting experience (retail or commercial)
* Strong reconciliations and analytical capability
* MRI experience preferred (Yardi, JDE or similar welcomed)
* Confident reviewing budgets, forecasts and reporting
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Able to manage volume and competing deadlines
