Job Description
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team and drive revenue growth through the sale of exhibition space and sponsorship packages for our flagship events, the Dog Lovers Festival and the Cat Lovers Festival.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, executing consultative sales strategies, and negotiating contracts to achieve revenue targets. The role requires excellent critical thinking, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in customer retention and achieving sales targets.
Some interstate travel is required, but the majority of work can be done from a modern, fun office environment that offers a great team dynamic and flexible working hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute on a comprehensive sales plan to drive the growth of exhibition space and sponsorship sales for all festivals including maximising customer retention after each event.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, exhibitors, and sponsors to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals with key accounts to achieve revenue targets.
* Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing client base.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the event management industry.
* Demonstrated success in consistently achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
