Ecology Consultant Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ecology Consultant to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality ecological projects across NSW.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in ecological survey, reporting and assessment skills, with experience in field work and project management. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct field surveys and assessments to identify ecological values and develop strategies for conservation and management
* Develop and implement effective project management plans to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects
* Prepare high-quality reports and presentations to communicate results and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
* Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in environmental science or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in ecology consulting or a related field
* Strong knowledge of Australian biodiversity laws and regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
