The Opportunity
Our Women Up Front Trainee Bus Driver Program offers you the support and training you need to become a licensed and confident bus driver. This includes:
* A friendly and supportive environment
* An extensive induction training program with a mix of classroom and on‐road training
* Training to obtain a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence
* A 12‐month training program (mix of classroom and on‐the‐job training) to gain a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Driving Operations – Bus)
* Industry‐leading pay throughout your training
* Being assigned a buddy throughout the training process to support your development
* Depot locations – North Fitzroy, Preston, Doncaster, Keysborough and Heatherton
* Excellent customer service skills and a love of working with people
* A current Australian car driver's licence (full licence held for a minimum of 2 years)
* Willingness to have a pre‐employment functional, drug and alcohol assessment
* Ability to obtain a Driver Accreditation and Working With Children Check
* Hold Australian work rights (Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen)
What We're Looking For
