As our long-term, major operations and maintenance contract continues to grow, we are seeking a Fuel Tanker Driver to join our team at RAAF Williamtown - NSW Hunter Region.
In this pivotal role, you will:
Support the Defence Fuel Network across Australia, ensuring operational excellence and reliability.
Contribute directly to the success of a program essential to national defence capability.
Work alongside industry experts, Defence partners, and UGL's outstanding teams.

The Role
Reporting through to the Operations Supervisor, your day-day duties will include, but not limited to;
Operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence base
Work closely with operator to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuel
Deliver the fuel to the designated fuel point i.e., refuelling point, aircraft on the runway etc
Operate pumps on tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft
Communicate with internal and external team to ensure good customer experience
What you Need
You will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer. We expect the successful applicants to have the following
MC/HC Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence essential
Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential
Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded
Good communicator and ability to work in a diverse team
Current holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances
