Accounts Payable Officer (90M0676596) Mascot, Sydney, AustraliaSalary: AUD38 - AUD42 per hour + Subject to extensionYour Current Company/Role:As a well established organisation, my client is looking for a young and agile Accounts Payable Officer to join their team for a 6 months temporary (subject to extension).
The role is to be based in their Mascot NSW 2020 office.
Onsite parking is provided alongside 2 days work from home flexibility.
Working holiday visa candidates are welcomed to apply.This is a role where you'll be the expert on vendor management and setting up new suppliers, working closely with the broader Accounts Payable team to ensure a seamless process.About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:Reporting to a nurturing Accounts Payable Manager; you are responsible forSetting up new vendors/setting up suppliers in the system with a high degree of accuracy.Dealing with overseas payments and being able to perform multiple checks i.e. banks, internal and vendors.Dealing roughly with 25 vendors per week.Serving as a key point of contact, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure smooth vendor management.Managing the vendor management inbox, responding to inquiries and maintaining clear communication.Conducting regular checks and reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to ensure data integrity.Working with internal departments to verify information and streamline processes.Other ad hoc duties as and when requiredIdeal ProfileThis opportunity is for someone who has experience within vendor master data/supplier setup and vendor management.
