**Sigma Delta Services **specializes in restoration of historic vehicles' interiors and electronics such as old radios and converting them to latest technologies (Bluetooth), upgrading the sound system, etc.
We are looking for an **Electronics Equipment Technician** to join our team!
**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Carry out diagnosis and correct or replace malfunctioning electronic units
- Install and repairs electronic systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of equipment.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of the end-to-end procedures of electric equipment's from assembling, testing and calibration and installation.
- Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus, using test equipment, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables, using hand tools.
- Replace faulty electrical components of machines before and after sale.
- Manage stocks of supplies and equipment.
- Test machines and electronic equipment to diagnose faults using a variety of diagnostic tools including visual inspection.
- Performs preventative maintenance on test equipment.
- Maintains logs. Assists with the Test Failure Measurement Evaluation and Analysis as needed
- Diagnose and repair defective parts to ensure the correct functioning of the machines reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment
- Ability to work according to Health Safety policy and guidelines.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in related area
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Able to perform analytical tasks with awareness of occupational health and safety regulations
- Mechanical competence and know-how
- Ability to break down often complex technical information into a language more easily digested by the general public
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
**Job Type**: Full Time
**Salary Offered**: $ 60,000 to $ 80,000 + superannuation
