About the role
This role delivers holistic, trauma-informed nursing care toyoung people experiencing mental health challenges within acommunity setting. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, youwill assess needs, develop and implement care plans, and provideclinical support that promotes wellbeing, resilience andrecovery.
You'll collaborate closely with case workers, carers and otherprofessionals to ensure coordinated, person-centred care, whilealso supporting non-clinical staff through education and guidance.This role offers variety across care environments and theopportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and bestpractice. This is a permanent part time role (30.4 hoursper fortnight) based in Mirrabooka with flexibility in hours anddays worked.
About you
You're a compassionate and adaptable nurse who thrives workingwith young people and values a person-centred, trauma-informedapproach. You build strong relationships, communicate effectivelywith a wide range of stakeholders, and bring a proactive,solution-focused mindset to your work.
In addition, you will also possess:
* Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
* Working With Children Check
* Experience or strong interest in youth mental health orworking with vulnerable cohorts
* Ability to develop and manage care plans and supportmedication management
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Confidence using clinical systems and maintaining accuratedocumentation
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last sixmonths)
