Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Operational Systems strategy. As Principal Operational Systems Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive plans for our key operational systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop strategic plans for the operational systems used by Network Operations and Western Power.
* Lead change management initiatives and communicate the benefits to stakeholders.
* Matrix manage internal experts to achieve strategic objectives.
* Oversight of multiple Operational Systems programs, ensuring timely outcomes and effective risk management.
* Provide technical thought leadership and guidance on complex issues.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Economics, Project Management, Finance or equivalent trade qualification.
* 20+ years' direct electricity industry experience.
* Demonstrated expertise in Operational Systems with at least 10 years' experience.
* Strong negotiation and relationship skills.
* Able to communicate at all levels, including Executive.
* Proven technical leadership and team building skills.
