About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead local plumbing and defence construction projects in the Northern Territory, ensuring delivery within budget and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
* Team management and development.
* Develop and track project schedules, including trade manpower loading.
* Perform job cost tracking, reporting and forecasting to determine final project costs and estimate changes in scope.
* Manage works in accordance with the Project Management Plan.
* Procure and manage project subcontractors and equipment vendors.
* Inspect job sites regularly for contract compliance, workmanship and safety.
* Ensure quality management (QA/QC) and adherence to HSECQ systems.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial construction project management for a contractor.
* Advanced knowledge of plumbing and drainage systems – highly desirable.
* Solid understanding of the construction process in its entirety.
* Knowledge and application of AS3500 and AS1428.
* Effective project planning and scheduling capabilities.
* Theoretical and practical understanding of contract management.
* Quality management knowledge (QA/QC).
* Solid understanding of established HSECQ systems and principles.
