About Us
Asset Therapy is a well-established, multidisciplinary allied health practice on the Gold Coast with a standout reputation among families, schools and childcare centres. We provide community-based therapy for children aged 1 to 17 in real-life settings such as homes, schools and daycares. Our service area runs from Ormeau to Pottsville, and we plan travel with your home base in mind so you are not spending your day on the road.

The available position is for a Tweed and Central Gold Coast caseload.
Role
Join our expanding team and partner with us in nurturing the development of children to reach their full potential. We're seeking candidates with experience, outstanding communication skills, and a passion for what they do! In this role you will travel between your clients for 1:1 sessions, manage your own caseload, and ensure timely completion of clinical notes and reports. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assessment of children's' functional capacity, development and skills, through a range of clinical observations, caregiver interviews and standardised assessments.
* Connecting with caregivers, other health professionals and teachers to set child and family-centered goals.
* Developing and delivering client-centered, evidence-based, and engaging occupational therapy interventions.
* Working collaboratively within client's multidisciplinary team to support positive outcomes.
* Educating and empowering caregivers to use strategies and interventions to support their child's development and make progress outside of therapy sessions.
* Completing comprehensive reports and other necessary documentation for our NDIS and private clients.
* Providing occupational therapy services to children aged 1 to 17 years across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW at their home, school or daycare centres.
* The ideal candidate will have a high level of experience working with children to develop emotional regulation skills, social and play skills, fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing and self-care skills.

Role Type: Contractor
Hourly Rate: $100 - $120+ per hour, plus super, plus travel
Location: Northern NSW - Central Gold Coast
Requirements
- Occupational Therapy (AHPRA) Registration certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Card
- Active ABN (or obtain)
- Blue Card and NSW WWCC (working with children card)
- Driver license & own vehicle
- Experience providing paediatric occupational therapy
- Available for a minimum of 10 billable hours per week
- A positive, professional and friendly nature
- Pride and integrity working independently
- Excellent time management and communication skills
