As a Consultant with Bailey Abbott, you will have the opportunity to build your project portfolio by gaining exposure and experience working across different clients, industries, technologies, and methodologies, all while having the stability and security of a permanent position.
Bailey Abbott are now looking for a Change, Release & Asset Management specialist who thrives on structure, improvement, and embedding ITIL-aligned practices in client environments. If you have deep ITSM expertise and want to make a lasting impact on how organisations manage change and technology assets, this is the opportunity for you.
As a key consultant in our ITSM maturity practice, you'll be embedded into a new client engagement to lead the design, implementation, and operationalisation of Change, Release, and Asset Management capabilities. You'll work side-by-side with client stakeholders to establish structured practices, reduce operational risk, and ensure sustainable service governance.
You don't need to be an ITSM expert—if you bring solid consulting and business analysis skills with a genuine interest in ITSM, we're happy to provide the training. We're looking for people who are keen to grow and ready to dive in.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and embed ITIL 4-aligned Change, Release, and Asset practices.
* Deliver day-to-day operational services, including RFC reviews, CAB coordination, and FSC maintenance.
* Define and coordinate release schedules and readiness activities.
* Implement asset lifecycle controls, liaise with vendors, and support reconciliations.
* Support reporting, knowledge transfer, and capability uplift activities.
What You Bring
* Experience in ITSM, service operations, or consulting roles.
* Proven expertise in Change Management and/or Release & Asset Management.
* Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
* Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA Service Management, or equivalent.
* ITIL 4 Intermediate/Managing Professional preferred; Agile or DevOps awareness is a bonus.
