The Role
As Senior Legal Counsel you will report to the CEO and work closely with the Senior Leadership team and the board.
The role will encompass the complete life cycle of projects where you will be a hands on and trusted advisor, with responsibility for:
* Completion of new projects/transactions, including acquisition, design, development, construction and operation.
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and associated documentation.
* Liaising closely with senior stakeholders, including the CEO, CFO and COO.
* Managing compliance and regulatory matters as they relate to the energy sector.
* Providing input in and around strategy.
* Creating and maintaining relationships with external counsel, industry associations and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have between 7-10 years' PAE from an energy, projects or construction/infrastructure team.
You will have transaction experience as well as exposure to project delivery issues and an ability to work in a fast paced environment.
