A leading UK-wide niche consultancy group based in Wakefield is seeking an experienced CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified Management Accountant/Finance Manager to join the business at a pivotal stage of its expansion. Your responsibilities will include:
* Oversee all financial operations across the group, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting, and efficient processes are in place.
* Identify, evaluate, and implement improvements to support the ongoing growth of the business.
* Take ownership of the accounts team, managing workloads and responsibilities based on individual strengths.
* Oversee the Accounts Payable function to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and high standards are maintained.
* Provide timely and meaningful financial updates to senior stakeholders, delivering clear insight into current performance, forecasts, and future projections.
* Present financial information and commercial insight to both internal and external stakeholders, helping influence key business decisions and support the organisation's strategic growth plans.
About you:
* Ideally ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
* Proven experience operating in a senior Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, or Finance Manager role with a desire to take on a leadership position.
* Strong understanding of financial controls, reporting, and process improvement.
* Previous exposure to multi-site SME environments would be advantageous, but is not essential.
* Commercially minded with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ambitious, proactive, and keen to make a genuine impact within a growing organisation.
* Eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
