We operate a 100% digital lab and we're seeking a qualified dental technician with experience in CAD/CAM. We're an in-house lab and we only serve our clinics and dentists so this is a great specialised and dedicated role with a lot of engagement with our professionals. We're a modern and small lab with state of the art digital equipment and materials. Position is available for immediate start for the right candidate.
Job Description
* Utilize Exocad and/or inLab software to design and create a variety of dental restorations, including crowns, bridges and orthodontic appliances.
* Convert digital impressions and scans into accurate and high-quality dental designs.
* Work closely with dentists and dental professionals to ensure the design and fit of the restorations meet clinical requirements.
* Modify and refine designs based on feedback to achieve the best possible fit and function.
* Ability to work on call for emergency cases
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate with dentists regarding adjustments.
* Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of Exocad software and equipment to ensure smooth operation.
* Ability to operate different types of milling machines and troubleshoot, experience with VHF machines is highly advantageous.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental technology and exocad software updates.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Diploma in Dental Technology or equivalent.
* Proficiency in Exocad CAD and inLab software for digital design and manufacturing.
* Knowledge of CAD/CAM technologies, 3D printing, and milling systems.
* Strong understanding of dental anatomy and materials.
* High attention to detail and precision in all aspects of design.
* Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to exocad.
* Proficient in using dental lab equipment and tools.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to drive, some transportation between clinics will be required.
