The program
The Community Event Support Volunteer role is part of Red Cross' ongoing community engagement efforts across the Northern Territory. Volunteers in this program help bring Red Cross' humanitarian principles to life by supporting local events, activities, and initiatives that strengthen community connections. Whether it's helping at information stalls, family days, or awareness events, this program provides a welcoming way to get involved and make a difference.
The opportunity

This is a flexible role suited to people who enjoy meeting others, working as part of a team, and representing Red Cross in the community. You'll assist with setting up and running events, welcoming attendees, and supporting staff and volunteers on the day. It's a great way to develop new skills, meet like-minded people, and gain experience in community engagement and event coordination.
The impact
By volunteering your time, you'll help create positive, meaningful experiences for people in the Northern Territory. Your support will help Red Cross reach more community members, build awareness of local programs, and strengthen relationships across diverse communities.
